Sloane Dining Chair Rust

Rust-coloured, curved and deep, the chair that sees the whole day.

Seven fifteen: toast, a coat over the back of a chair, a chair pulled out sideways so someone can tie a lace. By four it’s the post being opened and the shopping list. By ten it’s you, one lamp and the crossword, sitting sideways because the curved back lets you. In a Cork kitchen the dining chair does more hours than the sofa.

What the rust Sloane is

In rust, the Sloane is one chair, sold on its own: upholstered, curve-backed and deep-seated, on a maple frame, from the same range as our green and grey boucle Sloanes. Rust is a warm, earthy orange-brown, easy with oak, walnut and terracotta, and forgiving of the odd drip of tea. If it isn’t on the floor in our Ballincollig showroom the week you call, we’ll talk you through it and order it in.

Made from

• Maple frame
• Rust-toned fabric (polyester) over foam and polyester fibre
• Seat 49cm high and 49cm deep
• Delivered ready to use, one chair to a box

Dimensions

It’s 64cm wide and 60cm deep, a roomy chair. Measure the space between your table legs if you’d like it to sit at the side rather than the end.

Tables to put it at

Our dining tables collection has round and rectangular tops that suit it. You could also mix it: rust at the ends, grey boucle or natural down the sides.

Rust Sloane questions

Is rust hard to match?
Less than you’d think. It behaves like a warm neutral with wood, cream walls and dark floors.

Can I buy just one?
Yes, it’s sold as a single chair.

How do I look after the fabric?
Blot spills, brush out crumbs, and test any cleaner underneath first.

Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
