Torrance Coffee Table

A metre-wide round of smoked mirror on black, with room for every glass in the house.

The Torrance is a 100cm round coffee table, 42cm high, with a smoked grey mirrored glass top set in a matt black metal frame, with cross-frame detailing for strength and stability. It's made from glass, MDF and metal, about 22kg. A table this size takes the board, the bottles and the glasses with room left over.

Measure first

A metre across is generous. It suits an L-shaped or corner sofa, or a pair of sofas facing each other; in front of a single two-seater it can take over. Allow about 45cm between the table edge and the sofa for legs, and walk the room with a metre marked out on the floor before you decide.

Is it glass or mirror on top?

Smoked grey mirrored glass, so it reflects softly rather than brightly.

What's the cross frame for?

It's detailing in the black metal frame that adds strength and stability under the top.

Will it show fingerprints?

Mirrored glass does show marks. A soft cloth and glass cleaner before people arrive.

Is it heavy?

About 22kg, which is manageable for two.

What goes with it

Black and smoked mirror sit well with a dark velvet or leather sofa and a brass or black floor lamp. Pair it with a slim black-framed side table at the end of the sofa.
