Vertical mango slats and a lower shelf for the evening's extras.

Paul's pro tip

Use the lower shelf for what you'll want later rather than what you're using now: the second bottle, the spare napkins, the board for after dinner. The top stays clear for the glasses in play, and nobody has to leave the room to fetch anything.

The Voss is an 80cm by 80cm coffee table, 40cm high, in mango wood and MDF with an unusual vertical slatted design and a natural finish that brings out the deep grain. A lower shelf gives storage under the top, sitting 10cm off the floor.

Dimension mm cm
Width 800 80
Depth 800 80
Height 400 40
Leg height 100 10
Clearance to floor 100 10

What wood is it?

Mango wood with MDF, in a natural finish.

Is the shelf useful for storage?

Yes, it's a full lower shelf: books, baskets, a spare bottle.

Is it heavy?

21.1kg packed, in one box.

Will the slats catch dust?

Slatted sides gather a little dust; a soft brush or a hoover attachment sorts it.
