The Voss is a round dining table in mango wood with a natural finish, sitting on a slatted base with two shelves built into it. It seats four, and you can order it through our showroom in Ballincollig, Co. Cork, or here online.

The numbers

A 110cm round gives four people about 86cm of edge each, comfortably more than the 60cm most of us use. The floor is the bigger ask: leave about 90cm of floor behind every seat and the table asks for a clear space of roughly 2.9m across.

Where it works, and where it doesn’t

It works in a squarish room or a kitchen-diner where the same four sit down to the weekly family dinner, and the round top means nobody draws the corner. The shelves in the base take placemats, napkins or the fruit bowl, so the top stays clear for food.

Where it doesn’t: if six is a normal night in your house, this isn’t the one; the Wycombe at 150cm seats six. And because the base is a slatted structure with shelves, it’s worth checking your chairs against it; tell us which ones you have in mind and we’ll talk it through.

Living with mango wood

Mango has a strong, busy grain, so no two tops look quite alike. It’s a natural timber and moves slightly as the heating comes on; a mat under hot dishes and a coaster under glasses keep the finish right. Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it off.

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
