The Weston is a side table 45cm wide, 45cm deep and 50cm high, with a top and a lower shelf both in Baswara white marble on an iron frame finished in brushed brass. There is a decorative detail worked into the frame just under the top. At 50cm it sits level with a sofa arm, which puts the glass on the top within reach and the bottle, or the second round of nibbles, on the shelf below. One box; the top and shelf fit to the frame.

Is the marble real stone?

Yes, Baswara marble, a white Indian marble. Being natural stone it varies in veining from piece to piece, so no two Westons are identical.

Will the brass finish tarnish?

The frame is iron in a brushed brass finish rather than solid brass, so it holds its colour. A dry cloth is all it asks.

Is it heavy?

25.5kg once built, most of it in the two marble pieces. Fine to shift a metre or two; it is not a table for carrying between rooms every evening.

Does white marble go with oak?

Yes. White marble and brass against oak floors or an oak dining table is a combination that keeps appearing in the rooms we finish, because the warmth of the oak takes the coolness out of the stone.

Delivery

Allow about four weeks. It can come to you across Cork and nationwide, or you can collect it from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
