Acton 2 Drawer Console Black

Slim, black, two drawers, gold handles: the hall sorted in one piece.

The Acton is a narrow console in a black finish with two drawers and gold handles, 110cm wide, 36cm deep and 76cm high. It's built in MDF and rubber wood, 22kg, with 60.6cm clear beneath. In a hall it takes the keys and the post into the drawers; on an evening with people over it's the table by the door for the coats to be dropped beside and the first drinks to be poured.

How deep are the drawers?

The console is 36cm deep overall, so the drawers suit keys, post, gloves and chargers rather than anything bulky.

Will a black console make a small hall feel darker?

A slim black piece on a pale wall tends to sharpen a hall rather than shrink it. If your hall is dark already, the same console in white is on its own page.

What's the assembly?

Legs and feet only. An anti-topple kit comes in the box; we'd fit it where there are children.

Is the black finish shiny?

It's a solid, even black rather than a gloss. The gold handles are the only shine.

What goes with it

The Acton 2 Drawer Console White is the pale twin, same size and handles. A round mirror above and a lamp at one end finish the wall.
