Amalfi Floor Lamp Nickel

Nickel and gloss white, a head that tilts, a switch at hand.

The Amalfi in nickel is the cooler of the two Amalfi reading lamps: the same steel stem, tilting head with gloss white inside, curved handle and rocker switch on the back of the head, 23cm wide, 32cm deep and 161cm tall. The antique brass Amalfi warms a room; the nickel goes with grey sofas, black frames and chrome taps without arguing. Either way it is a one-job lamp: light on the page when people come over and the big light is off, and nothing spilling into the room.

Dimensions and lighting spec

• Bulb type: 7W LED GU10 (×1)
• Bulb included: no
• Switch: rocker switch

Is the bulb included?

No. It takes one 7W LED GU10, which you choose; warm white suits most sitting rooms.

How do I adjust it?

Take the curved handle and tilt the head; it holds where you leave it.

Does it dim?

No. The rocker switch is on or off, so choose a bulb at the brightness you want.

Is it tall enough beside a sofa?

At 161cm the head sits above a sofa back and tilts down onto the seat beside it.

What goes with it

The Amalfi in antique brass is the other finish. A small side table at the chair arm takes the glass and the book.
