Belmonte Coffee Table

A wide tray top on a carved mango base, with space for everyone's glass.

Six of you in the sitting room after dinner, two on the floor with their backs to the sofa. The board has been picked at, the coffee is going round, and every cup has somewhere to land on the wide tray top in the middle.

The Belmonte is an 85cm coffee table, 40cm high, made from solid mango wood that is laminated and sculpted into a beehive-shaped base under a wide, overhanging tray top. You fit the top to the base and it's done. It's a centrepiece that also works hard when the room is full.

Is it solid wood?

Yes, solid mango wood, laminated and shaped for the base, in a natural finish.

What does the tray top do?

It's wider than the base and overhangs it, so the surface is generous for cups, glasses and a board, while the base stays out of the way of feet.

How heavy is it?

About 21kg, in two boxes. The top goes on the base and that's it.

Will it go with an oak floor?

Natural mango has a warm tone and a visible grain. Beside oak it reads as a companion rather than a match; if you like, bring a photo of your floor and we'll look at it with you.

Getting it home

Around four weeks is usual. It can be delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge, and we'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
