Boho Retreat Console Table

Mixed timbers in brown, the pattern catching every lamp in the hall.

The Boho Retreat is the Boho Boutique in brown: the same 110cm by 40cm by 80cm console, the same mango solids with mindi, mahogany and mango veneers inlaid in a pattern, 13.5kg. The difference is what the finish does to the inlay. In the black version the pattern shows as texture and shadow; in brown it shows as colour, each timber its own tone, and the table reads warmer and more traditional. If the hall has oak floors and cream walls, brown tends to belong; if it's pale and modern, black is the sharper contrast.

Will it go with my oak floor?

Brown mixed timbers beside oak is an easy pairing; the inlay has enough variety in it to meet most floors halfway.

Does the pattern look busy?

It's one patterned piece. With a plain lamp and a plain wall above it, it's the point of interest rather than clutter.

Is there assembly?

Yes, some assembly is required; it arrives in one box of 13.5kg.

How do I look after the finish?

Dust with a soft cloth; wipe spills promptly. Veneers prefer not to be left wet, so a tray under the drinks is a good habit.

What goes with it

The Boho Boutique Console Table is the matt black version of this table. Brass or bronze lamps sit well on the brown.
