Craft Dining Table Natural

Eight places on 180cm of Natural oak, for the room you actually use.

Most homes have a dining room and a kitchen, and most people gather in the kitchen anyway. The Craft Dining Table in Natural is 180cm of oak and oak-veneered MDF on a shaped underframe, listed to seat eight, and one of the Craft tables we sell from Ballincollig.

Will it fit our kitchen?

The table itself is 180cm by 95cm. Add about 90cm on every side where a chair has to pull out and you’re looking at a clear space of roughly 3.6m by 2.75m. Against a wall on one long side, that shrinks a good deal.

Does it really seat eight?

It’s listed for eight. At about 60cm of edge per person, 180cm gives three down each side, plus one at each end. The legs stand 120cm apart, well in from the ends, which leaves room there for knees.

What is it made of?

Oak and oak-veneered MDF, in the Natural finish, with a simple top on a shaped underframe.

Will our chairs go under it?

The top is 75cm high, with 72cm clear underneath. A Craft Dining Chair’s seat is 46.5cm, which leaves about 25cm between seat and the underside for legs. Measure your own chairs the same way.

How does it arrive?

In one box, around 45kg packed, so two people to carry it in. Only the legs go on at home.

How does it live with a busy kitchen?

It will see the shopping, a pile of post, a half-done jigsaw and dinner in the same day. Mats under hot dishes and a wipe with a damp cloth look after it. Oak moves a little with the heating, especially in the first winter; that’s the timber getting used to the room, and it’s normal.

What goes with it?

The Craft Dining Bench in Natural for one side, chairs from our dining chairs collection for the rest, and the Craft 4 Door Sideboard in Natural or Craft Cocktail Cabinet in Natural on the wall behind.
