Craft Folding Dining Table Natural

A metre-wide round of oak that folds when the room needs it back.

The Craft Folding Dining Table in Natural is a round oak table 100cm across, listed to seat four, and it folds. A table like this usually goes where every centimetre counts; it’s one of the Craft oak pieces we sell from Ballincollig.

Sizes

A metre-wide round seats four, with about 78cm of edge each: more than the 60cm a person usually takes, so nobody is knocking elbows. With all four chairs pulled out you’ll use a clear square of about 2.8m; push it against a wall and seat three, and you win back some floor.

The folded size isn’t in the details we hold. If that’s the deciding number for you, email us and we’ll find it out before you order.

What it’s made from

• Oak, in the Natural finish
• Round top on a shaped underframe
• Folds
• Legs fit on at home; one box, around 30kg packed

Right room, wrong room

It works in a kitchen or flat where one table does breakfast, the post, the sewing machine and dinner. It works as the small table you set up properly when there’s company. If you regularly sit six, a metre-wide round will feel crowded; the Craft Dining Table at 180cm is listed for eight.

Talk it over in Ballincollig

The showroom is at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968. We can show you the Natural finish and talk through the fold there; if the folding table isn’t out that week, we’ll find the folded size for you and order it in. Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm; closed Sundays. No appointment needed; nobody will hurry you. Get directions

Day to day

A small table that does every job in the room picks up marks, so a mat under the teapot and a damp cloth for spills go a long way. Oak shifts slightly with the heating over the first winter; that’s normal.

Delivery, or collect it
