Glacier Floor Lamp

Bubbles caught in clear rods, lit from within, in the corner of the room.

It is nine o’clock and the table has been pushed back. Someone has taken the armchair, someone else is on the floor against it, and the only light at that end of the room is coming from three clear rods in the corner, each full of tiny bubbles. Nobody has thought about the ceiling light all evening.

The Glacier is a multi-arm floor lamp, 25cm across and 140cm tall, in stainless steel with three clear acrylic rods, each with bubbles set into it and an LED behind. The light is warm white and built in; a foot switch on the cable turns it on. At 140cm it sits below eye level from a standing position, which is what makes it a corner lamp rather than a reading lamp.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. Three 2W warm white LED modules are built in, one per rod, so there is nothing to fit.

Is it bright enough to read by?

It is a mood light. For a reading chair, add a task lamp such as the Amalfi.

How does it switch on?

An inline foot switch on the cable, so you press it with a toe.
