A small round oak stool for whoever is keeping the cook company.
Someone’s at the hob, someone’s opened a bottle, and the third person has nowhere in particular to be. They take the stool at the end of the counter and start on a story from work while the onions soften. Nobody would call it hosting; it just works.
The stool itself
The Hatfield is a round-topped stool in natural oak, 34cm across and 65cm tall, sold on its own from our showroom in Ballincollig, Co. Cork. It’s part of the wider Hatfield range of chairs, tables and open shelving. Natural is the lighter of the two Hatfield finishes, and it keeps a pale kitchen feeling light.
What it’s made from
- Oak and oak veneer, with MDF and rubberwood
- Natural oak finish
- Seat 33cm by 33cm
- 65cm tall overall
- Legs to fit; one box, 5kg
The numbers
| Dimension | mm | cm |
|---|---|---|
| Width | 340 | 34 |
| Depth | 340 | 34 |
| Overall height | 650 | 65 |
| Seat width | 330 | 33 |
| Seat depth | 330 | 33 |
At 65cm overall, think of it as a stool for a standard kitchen worktop of around 90cm rather than a raised bar; at a counter of 100cm or more it would leave you sitting low.
With the rest of the Hatfield range
- Hatfield Dining Chair Natural (Set of 2)
- Hatfield Dining Table Natural
- Hatfield Small Dining Table Natural

Quick answers
Is this one stool?
Yes, one. Order as many as your counter has room for, allowing about 60cm each.
Does it match the Hatfield chairs?
Same range and the same natural oak finish, so a stool at the counter and chairs at the table look like they came together.
Can it do other jobs?
At 34cm across and light to lift, it moves around easily: a spare seat in the hall, a stand for a plant, a perch for putting on boots.
Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
