Hatfield Side Table Smoked

Same triangle, darker oak: the Hatfield for a room with black or bronze in it.

Next to the Hatfield in natural oak, the smoked one is the same table in a darker coat: triangular, 45cm wide, 43cm deep, 43cm high, oak veneer over MDF with oak and rubberwood in the frame, tapered oak-veneer legs, 4kg, legs screw on. The natural finish goes with pale floors and Scandi rooms; the smoked finish leans towards black metal, bronze lamps and darker upholstery, and reads a little industrial. Either way it is the one-handed table that goes into the corner by the sofa and comes out again when the glasses need a home.

How dark is the smoked finish?

A deep brown-grey that keeps the oak grain visible. Beside black metal it reads warm; beside natural oak it reads dark.

Smoked or natural for a dark sofa?

Either works. Smoked disappears into the scheme; natural stands out against it. It comes down to how much you want the table seen.

Does the triangle waste surface?

The top is 45cm at its widest, which takes a lamp and a glass comfortably. What it gives up in area it gains in fitting where nothing else does.

Is assembly much work?

No. The legs screw on, and that is the whole job.

What goes with it

The Hatfield Side Table Natural is the pale sibling. For a taller smoked oak piece in the same room, the Craft Side Table Smoked at 55cm takes the lamp while the Hatfield takes the glass.

Allow about four weeks. It can come to you across Cork and nationwide, or you can collect it from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
