Darker oak, same round top: the Craft for a room with deeper colours in it.

Set beside the Craft in natural oak, the smoked version is the same table with the colour turned down: 50cm round, 55cm high, oak and oak-veneered MDF, a simple top on a shaped underframe, 8kg, no assembly. The natural finish lifts a pale room; the smoked finish settles into one with a dark sofa, a deep rug or walls in a colour. At 55cm it sits just above most sofa arms and takes a lamp without the shade ending up in your eyeline. It is the table you carry to the end of the dining table when there are more people than places.

How dark is smoked oak?

A mid-to-dark brown with a grey undertone, so the oak grain still shows through. It is not black and it is not walnut.

Does it go with a natural oak dining table?

Yes, as a deliberate contrast. Two shades of oak in one room read as considered when the shapes are related, and the Craft shapes are.

Is there a matching coffee table?

There are matching pieces in the Craft range; ask in the showroom which ones would suit your room.

Is it light enough to move about?

8kg. One hand under the top and it goes wherever the next glass is.

What goes with it
