Milano 2 Door Open Display

Tall and narrow: the Milano display uses the wall, not the floor.

The Milano 2 Door Open Display is a tall oak and oak veneer unit with two doors and two adjustable shelves, carrying the Milano chevron. In a smaller Cork home, storage often has to go up rather than along, and this is built for exactly that.

How big is it?

A footprint of 80 by 35cm, with 1.7 metres of height above it.

What will the shelves take?

There are two adjustable shelves, set 32.6cm apart: room for cookbooks, a row of glasses, a stack of bowls or a couple of vases.

What’s behind the doors?

Inside, the cupboard measures 37.1cm wide and 30.2cm deep. If the height inside matters for what you want to keep in there, ask and we’ll confirm it.

Will it get up the stairs?

It arrives in one box with only the legs to fit, so the body comes made up. Measure the turn of your stairs and the landing against 170 by 80cm before you order.

Does it need fixing to the wall?

Tall units are safer fixed, especially where there are small children, and it’s worth fixing this one to the wall. Ask and we’ll confirm what fixings come with it before you buy.

Does it go with the rest of Milano?

Yes. The Milano 2 Door Cocktail Cabinet is the mirrored one, for glasses; the low one is the Milano 2 Door 3 Drawer Sideboard; the Milano Round Dining Table suits the same smaller room.

How do I look after the finish?

The matt lacquer keeps the oak looking natural. A barely damp cloth, dried after; no polish sprays. Oak responds to the heating, so a door may sit fractionally differently between winter and summer.

Can I see Milano in person?

Much of our dining and storage furniture is set out at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968, though what’s out changes. Tell us you’re interested in the Milano display and we’ll say what we can show you; if it isn’t there, we’ll go through its sizes with you and order it in. How does it get to me?

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collect it from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge; either way, we’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
