Milano 2 Drawer Console Table

Chevron oak with two drawers, 120cm, and a place for everything.

It's the hall at half seven: the lamp's on, the chevron top is catching it, and the two drawers have swallowed a week of post so the surface is clear. By eight there's a tray of glasses on it and somebody has asked where the table came from.

The Milano is a 120cm console in oak and oak veneers with the top laid in a chevron inlay, 38cm deep and 80cm high, with two drawers. The finish is a matt lacquer with the grain brushed out, so it looks and feels like dry, natural timber, knots and all. 27kg, legs and feet to fit, and a coordinating mirror is made to hang above it.

What's a chevron inlay?

Strips of oak laid in a V pattern across the top, so the grain runs in alternating directions and catches light from two angles.

Is it solid?

Oak and structured oak veneer on an MDF core, finished in matt lacquer. The grain is real oak with its knots left in.

Could it be a dressing table?

Yes; with the coordinating mirror above and the two drawers, it's often bought as one for a bedroom.

What's the assembly?

Legs and feet only. One box, 27kg.

What goes with it

The Milano Console Table is the same top without the drawers. A coordinating Milano mirror is made for the wall above; ask us about it.
