Some tables work three shifts a day: breakfast on the run, the bills and the paperwork in the afternoon, dinner for whoever’s home. The Milano Dining Table is 1.6 metres of oak and oak veneer with a chevron inlay, for six, and it’s part of the Milano furniture we sell from our Ballincollig showroom.

Size of it

Worth knowing: matt lacquer keeps oak looking dry and natural, but it’s a finish, not armour. Mats under hot mugs and dishes will keep it that way.

Finding us, and delivery

The showroom: Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968, Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm, closed Sundays. Ask which Milano pieces are out when you visit. Get directions. Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collect it from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge; either way, we’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Quick questions

Will a bench work with it?
The Milano Dining Bench is from the same range. At 1.5 metres it sits alongside rather than fully between the legs, so measure your room with that in mind.

What if we need more seats some days?
The Milano Extending Dining Table opens from 2 to 2.52 metres and seats six to eight.
