Honestly: this is the open Milano, with no drawer and no shelf. If you want somewhere to put the remotes and the coasters away, the Milano 1 Drawer Side Table is the same table with a drawer. If you want the chevron top light enough to carry to the dining table when the extra people arrive, this is it.

The Milano Side Table is 50cm wide, 45cm deep and 60cm high, in European oak and rustic oak veneers with a chevron inlay top, finished in a matt lacquer with the grain brushed out so the oak looks dry and natural and feels like timber under the hand. It comes in one box at 8kg and the legs fit on. At 60cm it stands above most sofa arms, which makes it a lamp table; in the dining room it is the overflow for the bread and the water jug when the table is full.

Does the chevron top match the other Milano pieces?

Yes. The drawer version and the supper table share the same European oak, rustic veneers and chevron inlay, so a set reads as a set.

How does it feel to touch?

Dry and grainy, in a good way. The matt lacquer seals it but the grain is brushed out, so you feel the oak rather than a coating.

Is 60cm right beside a sofa?

It stands above most sofa arms, which sit around 45 to 50cm, so treat it as a lamp table. For a glass level with the arm, a 50cm table suits better.

Delivery

Allow around four weeks. It can be delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
