Monte Cristo Fabric Bed

The Monte Cristo frame in fabric, for a softer-looking bedroom.

The Monte Cristo Fabric Bed is the upholstered version of the Monte Cristo frame: the same 216cm length and 130cm head end, in a 5′ King or a 6′ Super King. It is the one for a bedroom that wants to feel soft and quiet rather than textured.

Honestly: if you want the bedroom to look airy and light, the rattan version of this frame may suit you better.

Which mattress does it take?

A 150 × 200cm mattress in the 5′ King, and 180 × 200cm in the 6′ Super King.

How much room does it take up?

The 5′ is 170cm wide overall and the 6′ is 197cm, both 216cm long. Add about 60cm each side for getting in and out.

What colour is the fabric?

The photographs are the best guide we have online. If you’d like to know more before you decide, email us and we’ll tell you what we know.

What goes with it. With it: the 3 drawer bedside or the 1 drawer bedside either side, the 5 drawer tallboy and the mattress that suits you.

Bring a photo of the room and the measurements, and Paul will go through the Monte Cristo range with you in the showroom at Heritage Walk, The Quadrants, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, P31 W968. Monday to Saturday, 9.30am–5pm; closed Sundays; no appointment. Get directions.

Delivery. Allow around four weeks. It can be delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

The mattress

The frame is half the bed. The Mulberry Mattress Range is five mattresses, made in Ireland for us, from Softer to Firmer, and all five are side by side in the showroom in Ballincollig. Lie before you buy. If you’d rather be pointed at one, Find your Mulberry asks a few questions first, and the Mulberry Mattress journey shows how they’re made.

Any question, any at all: email info@mulberryhouse.ie and a person in the showroom will answer it.
