In a lot of Cork houses there’s a dining room nobody sits in. They sit in the kitchen: one leaning on the counter, one at the table with the paper, the kettle on for the third time. The chairs in there get pulled out a dozen times a day and sat on sideways. They have to look right from the doorway and be easy company.

What it is

The Onda Dining Chair in natural-toned fabric, its frame of timber and plywood finished in dark charcoal brown. It belongs to the Onda dining range, and it arrives built.

One number to hold on to: it’s 63cm wide, so plan on about that much table edge per chair, plus a little.

Allow around four weeks for delivery, across Cork and nationwide (Republic of Ireland only). Or collect it from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. Either way, we’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Good questions

Is a pale fabric a mistake in a kitchen?
That depends on your kitchen more than on the chair. A natural fabric shows a splash sooner than a dark one. If your kitchen table sees small children and spaghetti most nights, the Onda also comes in brown leather.

How do I care for the fabric?
Ask us for the care details for this upholstery before you order and we’ll send them on.

Can I mix it with the leather version?
Yes. Same frame, same finish; the leather ones at the ends and the fabric ones along the sides is a combination that works.
