Soho Coffee Table

White marble over sloping whitewashed slats, ready for the board.

Honestly: if you want a coffee table you'll never think about, this isn't it. The Soho is a piece people notice and ask about. If you like that, read on.

The Soho is an 80cm by 80cm coffee table, 40cm high, with a white marble top on a base of gently sloping mango slats in a white-washed, sand-blasted finish. It's contemporary, but the natural materials keep it warm. On the night, marble is a good surface for a board and a bottle, and it's at a comfortable height for reaching from the sofa.

Is the top real marble?

Yes, white marble. Veining varies from table to table.

Will marble stain?

It can if wine or lemon is left on it. Use coasters, wipe spills promptly, and it will look after itself.

What assembly is involved?

Just the top to fit. It comes in two boxes, 45.3kg packed in total.

Will the whitewashed base go with dark floors?

Pale against dark makes the base stand out, which is part of the look. On pale floors it reads softer.

What goes with it

The Soho Side Table pairs the same white marble with the whitewashed mango.
