Honestly: this is a heavy table. The travertine top and solid mango legs together weigh almost 17kg, so it is not the one you lift across the room when the dinner table needs an overflow. If you want something you can carry one-handed, the Craft Side Table is half the weight. The Trevi earns its place by staying put.

The Trevi is a round side table, 45cm across and 49cm high, with a solid travertine top in a natural finish on chunky turned cylindrical legs of mango wood solids in a dark finish. At 49cm it sits level with a low sofa arm, the height for a glass set down from a seat. It comes in two boxes and the legs fit to the top.

Will travertine mark if a glass is left on it?

Travertine is a natural stone with open pores, so a wet glass left overnight can leave a ring. A coaster or a quick wipe is enough. The natural finish means it is not polished, so small marks read as part of the stone.

How dark is the wood?

The legs are a dark wood finish on mango solids, closer to walnut than to oak. Against a pale travertine top the contrast is the point.

Does it go with a dark oak dining table?

Dark wood and dark oak sit together comfortably when the tones are similar in depth. Bring a photograph of your table to the showroom and hold it against the stone and the wood finishes.
