Slatted mango curving around three sides, with black stud detail.

The table is laid and it's full. The Voss is on the far wall, slats catching the candlelight, with the bottles and the water jugs along its 140cm so nobody has to reach past a neighbour. Someone has pulled a stool up to the end of it to talk to the cook.

The Voss is a console in solid mango wood with a natural finish, 140cm wide, 40cm deep and 80cm high, with slats along the back that curve around the sides to the front, each picked out with black stud detailing. It's 36kg, arrives in one box, and needs no assembly. In a dining room it's the serving table; in a hall, the piece people turn round to look at twice.

What are the slats?

Vertical strips of mango wood running along the back and curving around the sides to the front edges, with black studs at the top of each. They give the piece its texture.

Is it solid wood?

Solid mango wood with MDF in the construction, in a natural finish that shows the grain.

Does it need building?

No assembly. It arrives in one box of 36kg; two people to carry it in, and an anti-topple kit is included.

Is it a sideboard or a console?

It's 40cm deep and open rather than cupboarded, so a console in use, with the length and presence of a sideboard.

What goes with it

The Hoffman Console Table is in the same solid natural mango if the hall is to follow the dining room; for the sofa end, the Dakota Nest of 2 Tables uses the same timber with black.
