Burley Coffee Table Black

Round, black, and light enough to move when the chairs come in.

The Burley comes in three finishes, and this is the black: the same 70cm round oak-veneer top on a solid oak base as the oak and walnut versions, finished black so the grain still shows through. The oak is the lightest in tone, the walnut the warmest; the black is the one that sits quietly against a dark sofa or a painted wall. At 40cm high and about 9kg, it moves easily when the room fills.

Does it need assembling?

Yes, fully, but it's flat-packed with all the tools supplied. Allow a short while and a clear patch of floor.

Does the black hide the wood?

No. The black finish lets the oak grain read through, so it looks like wood rather than paint.

Is 70cm big enough?

For a two-seater or an armchair group, yes. In front of a long sofa you might find a larger round, like the 90cm Blair, fills the space better.

What goes with it

Same family, other finishes: the Burley Coffee Table Oak and Burley Coffee Table Walnut. For the end of the sofa, the Burley Side Table Black matches this one.
