Cirella Side Table Cream

Ridged, glazed and cream: sculpture by the armchair until someone sets down a drink.

The Cirella in cream is a side table 40cm wide, 40cm deep and 45cm high, cast in glass-fibre reinforced concrete with a bold ridged pattern running round the body and a sectioned top under a cream glaze. At 45cm it sits level with a low sofa arm, or beside a lounge chair where a lower table suits. It comes in one box, fully made, with no assembly, and weighs 27.6kg, so it stays where you put it. The same table comes in rust and verde.

What is glass-fibre reinforced concrete?

Concrete with glass fibres mixed through it, which lets it be cast thinner and in shapes a plain slab could not take. It is solid, heavy and hard-wearing.

Is the glaze glossy or matt?

A glazed finish, so it has a soft sheen rather than a flat chalky surface. The ridges catch the light along their edges.

Can I use it outside?

It is sold as an indoor side table. A covered porch is as far as we would take it.

Is 45cm too low?

Beside most sofas, no: arms tend to sit around 45 to 50cm, so the top lands level with the arm. Beside a tall-armed sofa you would reach down a little. Measure your arm first.

Give it around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge, and we'll confirm your delivery date before you pay.
