Eight have said yes, and the table seats six. Two kitchen stools come in, everyone budges up, and suddenly there’s no room left on the table for the food. So the pots and bowls go on the sideboard, and people fill their own.

That’s the job of the Iowa 4 Door Sideboard in Whitewash, part of the Iowa range we sell in Ballincollig: 170cm of top at 70cm high to serve from when the table’s full, and four doors over two cupboards for the serving bowls and napkins the rest of the year. It’s mango wood, whitewashed and distressed.

Delivery

Allow around four weeks. Delivered across Cork and nationwide, or collected from the showroom in Ballincollig at no charge. We’ll confirm your delivery date before you pay.

Before you order

Whitewash or natural? Whitewash brightens a darker room; natural warms a pale one. Both are the same sideboard.

Is there a drawer for the cutlery? No, it’s all cupboard. If a cutlery drawer matters, the Madison 2 Door 1 Drawer Sideboard has a wide one.

Will a big serving dish sit on top? The top is 45cm deep, so a roasting dish and a couple of bowls sit side by side with room to spare.
