Honestly: if you want a nest with glass or metal in it, look at the Rowe or the Argyle. The Malvern is plain oak, rectangular, and meant to look like furniture rather than an accessory. That's its whole appeal.

The Malvern nest is two rectangular tables in solid oak and oak veneers with a natural finish, the larger 45cm wide, 35cm deep and 50cm high, with 47.2cm clear beneath; the smaller slides under it. Together they sit at the end of a sofa as one; apart, they're the two side tables you're short of when four more people arrive than you have tables for. 10kg the pair, legs and feet to fit.

Is 50cm high enough for the sofa arm?

For most sofas, yes. A sofa arm of 55 to 65cm leaves the top a little below it, which is where a glass wants to be.

Does it match the Malvern console?

Same oak, same natural finish, same dark pulls on the console. Hall and living room in the same timber without buying a suite.

What are the sizes of the smaller table?

The larger table is 45 by 35 by 50cm. The smaller nests fully beneath it; ask us for its exact dimensions if the gap matters.

What's the assembly?

Legs and feet only, from one box.
