White where the leopard was: the same mouth-blown glass table, now the quiet one.

The Murano in leopard is the one with the pattern; this is the same table with the pattern taken away. White mouth-blown soda lime glass body, aluminium plate top, 39.5cm wide, 39.5cm deep and 46.5cm high, 14.6kg, no assembly. The leopard is the conversation piece; the white is the sculptural one, with the organic blown shape doing the work and the textured glass catching lamplight without any colour at all. Both sit level with a sofa arm at 46.5cm, and both are the small table beside the armchair that holds one glass well and looks like it was chosen rather than bought.

Dimensions

Dimension mm cm
Width 395 39.5
Depth 395 39.5
Height 465 46.5

Is the white glass opaque?

It is white, textured and mouth-blown, so it reads as solid white with a soft glow where light hits it rather than as clear glass.

How does it differ from the leopard?

Only in colour and pattern. Same glass, same aluminium top, same size, same weight within a few hundred grams.

Can two go either side of a sofa?

Yes, and because each is blown by hand they will be a pair rather than twins. One white and one leopard is the pairing with a bit of wit.

Is 46.5cm the right height?

Level with a low or mid sofa arm. Beside a tall arm it will sit below; beside a lounge chair it is right.

What goes with it

The Murano Side Table Leopard is the patterned sibling. For a smaller mouth-blown glass piece in green, the Sono Side Table Forest is 30cm across and lower, for beside a low chair.
